University Hospital Heidelberg
The facility, which opened in 2010, functions as a base for medical emergency rescue, ambulance service with helicopters and special missions for police, army etc.
Four to five helicopters approach the heliport per day, transporting patients to or from the university hospital.
The choice of the new location and technical equipment incorporated the latest safety standards and implemented recent European norms.

DeWiTec installed obstacle warning lights on all buildings in the surrounding area.
