Description
The LEDs are operated at only a fraction of their rated current. This ensures that the required luminous intensity is maintained for more than 100,000 hours of operation.
- 2-stage helicopter landing pad beacon with electronic flasher
- Each LED group is additionally equipped with a bypass so that the entire circuit does not fail if one LED fails.
The control electronics for the LEDs are a separate module that is mounted in the control cabinet. The distance between the control electronics and the beacon is irrelevant, as the module regulates the voltage and current required for optimal beacon operation based on the cable route.
This ensures high reliability and ease of maintenance for the entire system. A shielded cable must always be used as the supply line to the beacons to prevent damage from lightning strikes.
Additionally, the fire is equipped with pressure equalization elements to prevent condensation.
Error messages are transmitted via potential-free contacts.
